God works in strange ways to help us. i know that He doesn’t believe in rules. He treats each one different from the rest and puts man above laws. nothing and no one bounds Him.
i also know that He doesn’t believe in permanence. He prefers change and movement. He designed life to have a past, a present, and a future.
He enjoys being unpredictable. He loves surprises. He comes when you least expect Him and He remains distant when you think you need Him most.
to Him, man’s opinion doesn’t matter. He alone knows the truth about everyone. He is the master builder. He knows the plans. humiliation and pride, joy and sadness, failure and success are both good and needed — important tools and gateways to one’s perfection.
i know that He likes riddles and games, too. appearances deceive. “what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
i also know that He is never in a hurry. He doesn’t mind taking us back to the same trial over and over until we learn what we need to learn. and then, take us back to it again to test our mastery.
even when we’re fifty.
pain is nothing to Him if it brings life.
