“if i am ever to be raised up, it must be by the hand of God… but i have to recognize the limits of what is humanly possible so that He can do the impossible.” — My Utmost For His Highest

it is during our moments of despair when God can act and make Himself fully and clearly known.  i only have to acknowledge where i am today to appreciate this truth.

there were several periods in the past and not so distant past when i thought i would never make it through… when i had unearthed every possible avenue and used up the last resource to find the solution to my problems but couldn’t.

but, praise God,  i am still alive today and standing.  i know with all my heart and soul that it was only through God that i survived them all.  and how!

“there is none like our God who walks above the heavens, riding above the clouds, and comes to help you in his zeal.” – Deuteronomy 33:26

“Whenever His hand is laid upon you, it gives inexpressible peace and comfort, and the sense that underneath are the everlasting arms — full of support, provision, comfort, and strength. And once His touch comes, nothing at all can throw you into fear again.”

“God, what more can i say but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart again, and again, and again.  i submit myself and mine to You today and everyday.  You are all i have and need.  i love You, my sweet Jesus.”
